About Black Dog

Consisting of two brothers, Jordan Belardes, 18 (violin) and Landen Belardes, 16 (vocals, guitar, whistle, harmonica), Black Dog is an alternative country band from Bakersfield, California. “Our music is influenced by our many childhood experiences in this great music town where Buck Owens, Merle Haggard and Korn got their start,” says Landen Belardes. “We hope to bring a whole new generation of alternative country music to Bakersfield and beyond.” Black Dog performs original and cover alt country, Irish and country songs. They have been featured in Mas Magazine for their Irish-Mexican ethnic heritage (Read article, "Kindred Spirits").
