"The dead have risen! Not the Grateful Dead. Like the actual, once-alive dead. And they're playing kick-ass 70's garage punk to boot! This is loud, rude and scary. But in a good way, not in an Ashlee Simpson way."
-Impact Press
"...it's hard to be anything but compelled by [Black Eyes & Neckties'] passion. On stage, Black Eyes were completely unhinged...It was just the dose of the raucous good ol' days I needed."
-The Seattle Stranger
"Black Eyes and Neckties cater to adrenaline addicts who go strictly for the raw energy this band disperses in buckets — or for anyone simply looking for something new. The theatrics of the live show by this talented rock band should encourage those who have not experienced something like this to be taken into another world." -The Santa Fe New Mexican

"A Rock-and-Punk blender with a healthy appreciation of early-era At The Drive-In" -The Spokane Inlander
Black Eyes and Neckties have been a band since October 2002. We enjoy long van rides, gallons of whiskey, clever word play, swimming pool tours of America, gas station leg drumming, eating safeway manwiches, reading mid-90's playboys, and making fun of each other. We also play rock and roll music.
