Black Friday, 'folk-rock's finest'- we are cornwall/plymouth based punk-folk band, a brew of traditional celtic music, original songs and covers by the likes of Flogging Molly, The Pogues and The Clash. We have been invading Devon and Cornwall with our high energy celtic songs and foot-stomping folk for two and half years, taking our prisoners at pubs, clubs and festivals. We've even taken the odd bride hostage. We stormed London for the third time this October at clubs in Soho and Shoreditch, and returned for Gaz's xmas shanty knees up. Highlights of summer 2007 were main stage Maker Festival - thanks to everyone in saturday nights manic crowd, and Port Eliot lit fest, the final act on the Ha ha stage.
This February marked a big break for the band as the featured band in Mark Lamaars Radio 2 Friday Night Show. What a blast!
Our Maker 2006 live album is sold out/given out but do not panic- we are in the process of making the second live album (maker 2007) and will probably order another batch of 2006's.
Our first studio album is pencilled in for later in the year, we have a summer of festival fun, more song writing, lots of cider drinking, partying, pillaging and looting - all planned for 2008. Rock on!
Look below for some live snippets and the brand-spanking new Got To Go vid!

Thanks for the kind comments about our album. You guys were great last week in London. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Sorry we had to shoot off at the end but we were all working the next day,
See you soon. We are looking to come back to Cornwall in November. Just trying to arrange dates in the next couple of weeks,
Are the Plymouth and Torquay Punks gonna come out to play?
How could they not when we have the self proclaimed almighty gods of Punk Rock SHRAPNEL SUNTAN headlining these nights of raucous mayhem and disorder with local favourites HIV & The Positives, Justin Credible and the Droogs and the amazing Mr Mike Porter supporting what A NIGHT!
The 1 more tbc didn't confirm so if you fancy a gig and can play for free let me, Mo @ Punk Attack or Luke Soap Suds & PVA know.....
Members of Rising Tide Plymouth/Anarcho Folko have gone and got themselves in court after a rather jolly protest against E$$O, now we need your support (and cash!). Should be a great gig including the first performance from No World Borders (members of Anarcho Folko, The Directors, Collective Responsibility) and two hours of dubstep DJing from DSM, so get your electro-skanking booties on and come down!
