Black Gears is a solo project by Adam Mountford started in the summer of 2008.
The first album Basement Demos was recorded between August 10th and October 4th of 2008 between 10PM and 1AM. All songs were improvised and preformed with nothing but a synthesizer, one microphone, and a radio. The best 10 out of 15 songs were chosen and released on December 18th, 2008.
