My name is Trinlay Thaye Dorje and I am the head of the Karma Kagyu lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. I am known as Karmapa or the Black Hat Lama of Tibet. There are four schools of Tibetan Buddhism, one of which is the Gelug school of the Dalai Lama. The very first Karmapa was born in 1110 and started the first incarnate lineage of lamas in Tibet.
Since there are so many young people online who are keen to know what Buddhism is, I have agreed to the proposal and would like to use this opportunity for sharing Buddhist values. I wish that the methods of Dharma (Buddha's teachings) will be helpful in your daily lives.
I have written a blog and I will be keeping it up to date so you can share in my experiences. Some videos have also been filmed and are on-line here.

Who I'd like to meet: There are definitely some individuals I would have liked to have met:
Of course being a Buddhist the number one would be to meet the Buddha alive. And Mahatma Gandhi – who led the whole nation of India to freedom through non-violence.

This existance of ours is as transient as autumn clouds. To watch the birth and death of beings is like looking at the movements of a dance. A lifetime is like a flash of lightning in the sky. Rushing by, like a torrent down a steep mountain.
