BiOniC LoVe SoUnDsySteM founder Adrian Blackhurst produces music, dj's & organizes music events in Vancouver BC. He is just back from a 16 month epic globetrotting journey which landed him gigs on the beaches of Goa & Mumbai India, Amsterdam, Vienna, Salzburg & Krakow.

mcs, so each show is different. Whether traveling or back home

BiOnIc LoVe SoUnD SySteM has an obsession with BASS & a goal to pulse
deep down dirty sub dub vibrations that pierce bodies & move feet & souls.
After playing in various bands: The Vibe Tribe, The 4th Kind, Yoko Phono, Alchemy, & Dojo....he went solo. Adrian is co-founder of Vancouver BC's Beats Without Borders collective (www.BeatsWithoutBorders.com) and DubTempo monthly events. Besides his 2 albums he has several unreleased remixes of artists such as Nickodemus, a De La Soul/Sean Paul remix "Out of Control", a Roots Manuva remix of "Witness the Fitness".
Adrian is currently working on compiling a cd, "Canada In Dub" of Canadian new dub artists such as Third Eye Tribe, Echo Pilot, Dubinhood, Calamalka, Helix Resonator, & BiOnIc LoVe SoUnDSySteM. This will be released .. Cuts supreme dub label. Stay tuned...
As for dj'ing, Adrian has been mainly focusing on Global Beats, Breaks, Dub, Reggae, Dubstep, Psy-Downtempo & Glitch-hop. He has dj'd at 100's of shows up & down the west coast & around the globe.
I can really relate to what Roots Manuva said regarding his fascination with and love of soundsystem culture : “It’s the bass thing. It’s the whole organic thing. Back in those days the sound was probably built by a local carpenter. The whole communal aspect of a bunch of people getting together and doing whatever they have to do to build this sonic monstrosity. It’s just the love that people get together and project into this one physical thing.”
