What do you see when you look in my eyes...a sea of green, a place where your heart could lie...where it could drown...where it could never survive...........

Rock-n-roll - It's not just a genre, but a lifestyle. Really, all styles of music have their merits.(Ok not gangsta-rap...I can't relate.) Good movies (although some may question my idea of "good"); tasty wine and great conversation; riding and training horses; vintage muscle-cars; being outside on sunny yet very cold days in winter; exploring small towns; did I mention hockey? (I love Darcy Tucker, #16)..

..Cheesy horror flicks! (I own all the Phantasm's on VHS...jealous yet?)
Anything with Christopher Walken; Steve Buscemi; Tim Roth: Johnny Depp (of course he's hot, but he's great...watch the more obscure flicks) Keanu Reeves: Billy Wirth...(okay, so the last two for beef-cake factor)
I like a variety of films; comedy, thrillers, historical epics, indies, etc... although not necessarily what is a main stream hit.

I've been a resident of NashVegas for about 9-years. Have spent most of my life as a Rock Musician/Photographer/Journalist/VJ...and I still work in the music industry. Music is a passion and a life force,...try as you might you can't run or hide!
The realization that what you value most in your life never leaves you...it just lays dormant until you reclaim it...or wake up has been my recent life lesson. Fear allows us to remain in our comfort zone, I've learned if you constantly feel comfortable...you're not really living. Take a chance, and get scared every now and then.
I'm into horses, the four-legged and under-the-hood kind; have two beautiful Tennessee Walking horses- a mare and stallion, and a Spanish Arabian filly I am training for endurance racing.
I love driving fast and faster; so just shut up, sit back and look pretty.
Laughter is my drug, I try to find the humor in just about every situation. You want to get my attention, thrill me with wit and a new way of seeing things.
Mean, selfish, arrogant, and ignorant people suck. I also believe that good or bad, accept responsibility for your actions and quit trying to control the world and other people...you can't.
I'm drawn to creative types, people who can just .."be" and music, words, art, design,...whatever comes natural just flows out of them.
My dearest friends are my prize possessions, (they know who they are and I'm blessed to have many) ...they are priceless.
As a rock writer/and VJ for METAL MASTERS...I met many, many bands and musicians, as well as industry professionals;...several have become friends, many I would love to run into again, and a few..wish I had never met them...then the star-struck bubble would not have been burst. ;D
Hey Blackie, I'm glad you like the comments I posted on your pics! lol
I didn't do anything for Halloween except hand out candy to some kids. I'm hoping to go to some of the shows coming up. I'd love to go to the L.A. Guns/ Skid Row show at the Wildhorse on the 11th, but since I don't drive I'll have to see if I can get there. If I do, maybe I'll see you there. Love ya!
lovin that photo my scary hot fellow virgo...i would love to get back up there and play- DT used to do 12th and Porter all the time, it was quite a cool place back in the day...hope all is well!
Wanted to share a pic of Mommy's birthday weekend and her Dia De Los Muertos makeup! I went as a skeleton on the Day of the Dead, but as a pumpkin on Halloween. Love you Auntie Blackie... Vaughn
A man is walking home alone late one foggy Halloween night, when behind him he hears: BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... Walking faster, he looks back and through the fog he makes out the image of an upright casket banging its way down the middle of the street toward him... BUMP... BUMP... BUMP... Terrified, the man begins to run toward his home, the casket bouncing quickly behind him. FASTER... FASTER... BUMP... BUMP... BUMP.... He runs up to his door, fumbles with his keys, opens the door, rushes in, slams and locks the door behind him.. However, the casket crashes through his door, with the lid of the casket clapping. clappity-BUMP... clappity-BUMP.... clappity-BUMP... on his heels, as the terrified man runs. Rushing upstairs to the bathroom, he locks himself in. His heart is pounding; his head is reeling; his breath is coming in sobbing gasps. With a loud CRASH the casket breaks down the door. Bumping and clapping toward him. The man screams and reaches for something, anything, but all he can find is a bottle of cough syrup! Desperate, he throws the cough syrup at the casket... and, The coffin stops
Actually he has 4 costumes...3 "Great Pumpkin" stumes and one Day of the Dead Skeleton costume. We're going to the Orange County Day of the Dead Festival cuz it's my birthday, Nov 1st and 2nd (All Saints day and All Souls day), so I think he'll wear the skeleton one then. I bought a bunch of mini ornamental pumpkins and he has the cutest crocheted pumpkin hat with a stem on top...so I think I will set him in a basket of pumpkins, dressed as the king of pumpkins and take a pic....keep your eye peeled, lol.
Love you and miss you...have a great Halloween...if I know you you're gonna be doing something fun!
