The new Black Jack's project saw the light in Rome, at the end of 2006, when four different experienced rock musicians met and decided to engage each one his personal style, energy and feelings, in order to create an original way to make music and a multi-influenced sound and style.
Therefore, they started their own “musical trip” composing, arranging and recording original songs inspired by some different great past and contemporaneous rock-bands, like "Led Zeppelin", "Queen", "U2", "The Cure" and "Radiohead", but also by the 70’-80’ progressive-rock’s Italian tradition, like “Area”, “Le Orme” and “Timoria”. Afterwards, these songs were collected in a promo-album called "Il viaggio" (2007).
At the same time, the band started its live activity, coming forward in some of the most important stages in Rome and the neighbourhood, keeping, on some occasion, local medias interested about their music.
Now the Black Jack have just finished their new album and they're keeping on their live activity, trying hard to promote themselves in Italy but also to an international audience.

Il nuovo progetto Black Jack nasce a Roma, alla fine del 2006, dall'incontro tra quattro musicisti rock dal differente passato, che decidono di mettere in comune idee, esperienze ed energie per dare vita ad un proprio, originale stile musicale omogeneo, seppure influenzato dal percorso artistico pregresso di ciascuno di essi.
Ha inizio, così, il “viaggio musicale” dei Black Jack, con brani di propria produzione, che in parte traggono ispirazione da alcune grandi rock-band del passato e contemporanee, come "Led Zeppelin", "Queen", "U2", "The Cure" e "Radiohead", ma anche dalla tradizione del progressive-rock italiano degli anni 70’ e 80’, come “Area”, “Le Orme” e “Timoria”. In seguito, i pezzi vengono raccolti in un promo-album dal titolo “Il Viaggio" (2007).
Contemporaneamente, inizia anche l’attività Live della band, che si esibisce su alcuni dei più importanti palchi della Capitale e dintorni, riuscendo, in alcuni casi, anche a catturare l’attenzione dei media locali.
Attualmente, i Black Jack hanno appena terminato il loro nuovo album, oltre a proseguire l'attività Live e la promozione della loro musica in Italia, con positivi riscontri anche da parte di platee internazionali
