2008 brings a new era. Recorded and engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) @ Godcity, "Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God" is Blacklisted's most dynamic release to date. This latest effort carries a psychological darkness merely hinted at in their previous "Peace On Earth..." release, diving head first into the jaws of their introspective abyss. This bold leap has sharpened their teeth and reaped great creative rewards. Songs like "Stations" and "Touch Test" erupt with shocking state of emotional electricity, while the abrasive melancholy of "Circuit Breaker" and "Wish" possess the ability to haunt listeners for a lifetime. All these qualities showcase Blacklisted's continuing evolution as a band, and also distance them far from the rest of the hardcore pack. Cementing their reputation as one of the only true lone-wolves of their hardcore generation.
I stupidly missed you playing with Bane, Have Heart and Ceremony in Brighton in September, and it's almost a year gone and I'm craving still more incessantly that you would return to the UK! Peace out. Laura
haha amazing!!! you guys can travel almost anywhere around the wolrd (europe, ausralia...) but canada...NO WAY!! this is just ridiculous, we're over protected...i guess this is what happenned when you elect a douchebag for president(for both contries)...same thing seems to happened with canadian bands who try to cross the boarder...gas price is fucked too!!
