THE STORY
IN THE WINTER OF 2003 BLACKLITE BUDDHA STARTED OFF WITH FIVE MEMBERS ERIC, BRENDAN, DOUG, AMANDA RAE, AND BILL. THE NAME WAS NOT YET BLACKLITE BUDDHA BUT SOON WOULD BE. AFTER JANUARY AND THE DEPARTURE OF BILL AND DOUG WE FOUND OURSELVES WITHOUT A RHYTHM SECTION. THEN KENT (A FRIEND OF ERIC AND BRENDAN'S) JOINED THE BAND TO REPLACE DOUG. LATER RYAN FROM FUGR TOOK BILLS POSITION. RYAN BEING TIED DOWN WITH HIS TWO OTHER BANDS HAD TO LEAVE BLACKLITE BUDDHA. THEN COMES IN CLAYTON A FRIEND OF RYANS. CLAYTON CAME IN 3 DAYS BEFORE A SCHEDULED GIG IN BALDUR. JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THE LINEUP WAS COMPLETE, WE LOST OR FEMALE VOCALIST. ONE YEAR LATER ERIC DECIDED TO PART WAYS WITH THE GROUP. THEN THE ADDITION OF MATT ON LEAD GUITAR COMPLETED THE LINE UP. CHECK OUT OUR PAST MEMBERS PAGE HERE. WELL THAT IS IT SHORT SWEET AND TO THE POINT THE BIRTH OR THE GREATEST ROCK BAND TO HIT WESTMAN SINCE WELL EVER. THAT IS JUST OUR OPINION SO COME OUT AND SEE FOR YOURSELF, IF YOU THINK YOU CAN HANDLE IT. MANIACAL LAUGHTER INSERTED HERE.
Happy Belated Birthday, Hix! For the record, i did not have a tooth pulled...but they shoved metal things in my mouth and i was VERY crabby. It's likely for the best i did not show up...hope you had a great time! Will be there for the next party, wherever or whenever that may be.
