Blacklodge is a recording facility located in Eudora, Kansas featuring two fully equipped Pro Tools HD3 Rooms. A Tascam ATR-80 2" 24-track tape deck and Amek Big 40-input fully automated console with virtual dynamics are the mainstays of Studio A. Both studios employ outboard processing by Vintech, Universal Audio, Manley, John Hardy, Empirical Labs, and many others. The studio has been home to bands from all over the world. Blacklodge features several engineers available to offer anything from a one song demo to a major label full length depending on the budget. Below are a few pictures of the studio. Once again we are offering a chance to win a $500 - 10 hr recording session from Black Lodge Studios in Eudora.
We are exploring some different criteria as we do every year but basically you just gotta rock out and get as many people there as you can to win the Grand Prize.
Battle for Black Lodge begins on Fri June 5th

July Fri 7/10 Sat 7/11 Fri 7/17 Sat 7/18 Fri 7/24 Sat 7/25
and so on for final rounds
The First Round dates will include 1-2 locals, and 1-2 area bands as scheduling is available. Winners move on to second round. I am always flexible on scheduling so let me know of any possible conflicts throughout the summer.
Payout is a split as usual and these shows are some of the best The Trap has to offer. These competitions really give your fans a reason to get out and support you.

I hate to see you selling the studio. Our best recordings came out there. Ed did a fantastic job in an amazingly short amount of time. No one has touched the quality that comes out of there for that reasonable of cost. I hope the best for you guys. Ed please stay in it, and let us know where you at so I can book some time there.
