Our thinking is simple; Black is the colour of New Zealand and the colour of fashion. It is the colour of our two cats Oscar and Katherine. The beach at Muriwai, our home in West Auckland has Black sand. The key New Zealanders behind Black Magazine are Maori, Chinese Samoan, English, Russian, Irish, French Croatian, Thai, Jamaican, Lithuanian and Scottish New Zealanders. Black Magazine's core group of creative contributors and partners represent whakapapa or lineage from a further 37 nations around the world. Our magazine has no cultural boundaries but is bound to culture.To all contributors to date a heartfelt thank you. Issue 10 of Black Magazine is on sale nationwide in New Zealand and Australia now.
