About me: The Lincolnshire Fan Club presently has 30 members. Fourteen live in the Lincoln area and the others live in other locations within Lincolnshire. Additional affiliated guest members (other fans from the UK or other places around the world) bring the club's Yahoo message board total, to over 180 members and the Myspace message board total to over 1,300 members.
The fans that live in Lincoln itself, meet on the LAST MONDAY NIGHT OF THE MONTH (EXCEPT DECEMBER) at "The Tap and Spile" pub (Hungate, Lincoln; 8.30pm - 11pm). The present average attendance is modest, about 5 or 6 members per meeting but this total has risen to 10 on some occasions.
One or two carloads of fans (from the Lincoln area) travel to gigs, to see Blackmore's Night, Deep Purple (or tribute bands such as Rainbow Rising or Pure Purple). Fans who are unable to attend the monthly pub meetings, do occasionally turn up for the gig trips.
