Black Mother Cap have been a band for roughly 3 years now. And our sound has been evolving over those years from bubblegum pop punk to something with a slightly darker edge.
We take our influences from a wide spectrum of bands, from Green Day to Reuben, The Wildhearts to The Chili Peppers.
We pride our selves on being a good live band, and enjoy putting on a show rather than just playing our songs and getting offstage.
2006 was not the best year for BMC, with the loss of our bassist and the practical disintegration of the band in the summer. But November saw the addition of Pol "The Bassilator" into our midsts, and we enjoyed the flurry of gigs we had at the end of the year.
Hopefully 2007 will prove a great year for us, and we look forward to seeing what it has to offer. Expect some new songs and gigs with great bands such as Castro, Tripdash, Forgotten Roots, and Jake Bullit.
Keep it real, Keep it rock n roll.
