The Pittsburgh Steelers. We like 'em Bucos n Pens, too. Don't forget about those lady footballers, the Pittsburgh Passion.
Hobbies include: melting down opposing offenses, pounding defenses with a direct approach, confusing the best of quarterbacks, winning tough games in the trenches, intimidating the unfortunate bastards who show up to play us against their will, intimidating home team fans when we're on the road, and WINNING SUPER BOWLS!

Blast - FTB/PBS #1 Very proud of the effort tonight. They made it a lot closer than I would it was going to be. Unfortunate that they lost, but they played well. Posted 5 hours ago view more
Who I'd like to meet: All fans of the Steel City. Send me your photos, and I'll put you in my profile's photo albums. Check out my albums from time to time. I'm always adding photos of fans, games, and misc. pictures.
I like basketball so I like the NBA. Im from CA no hockey here man. I grew up playing baseball football n basketball. Ive never ever even put on ice skates in my life let alone play hockey. Im not going to hate a sport I like because Pittsburgh dont have a team. I wish they did, theyd be my team. But they probably wont ever have one as Portland probably wont ever have a MLB NFL or NHL team. At least Im not a f'n Cavs fan like alot of Pittsburgh fans claim. I know where my family roots run. They dont run in Oregon, other than my uncle owns a vacation house in Oregon but that dont mean shit.
As for being too busy watching the Pens during the NBA season thats easy. Pens usually play at 4 here and the Blazers at 7. If they happen to play at the same time its rare but thats why I have a computer to watch one and a TV to watch the other.
World Series...screw em both...But why root for the Yankees? They have the biggest fake ass fan base in all of pro sports. Also they have 26 titles I dont want them bitches gettin another. I know the Philly fans might try n talk crap if they repeat but what else can they really say? The Steelers N Pens shut them bitches up when we talk NHL and NFL.
Its all good. I though that damn fn yahoo was screwing with me. They already pissed me off. I made a college pick em team or whatever u wanna call it and that son of a bitch wouldnt let me submit my picks for the first two weeks so I just gave up.
It let me submit my NFL pick em, salary cap football and NFL survivor picks but not college pick em.
Anyways, I was already mad at Yahoo over that shit. I thought they listed me with the wrong stats etc. and I lost. I was about to email their customer service lol
Plus to top it off I didnt know Punks team was your wife's so I just thought she was another person in the league like me and you were seeing on your page the same as her. I was about to stop playing Yahoo fantasy sports.
Anyways its all sorted out.
Do you play fantasy hockey? Im looking to play with some other people if they want to on either ESPN or Yahoo. I played both last year and both were pretty cool.
LoL Its all good but I was like what!?! Dude I looked over the league page hella times because when she said she won and then you I was like questioning my sanity lol.
I even had a buddy of mine look at the league to see if I was missing anything haha. I dont give two craps if I lose its all fun and games but 4 awhile I was at the "brothas" say trippin lol.
I won you league bud. No 2 chicks made it to the finals. I have the league page opened up on another tab right in front of me. Buccos over Punks in the finals 13-4.
I beat PGH Sports Word 10-6 in the quarters. Cant wait 4 football 9-8 in the Semis and the Punks 13-4 in the finals.
3rd place game was Cant Wait 4 football 13-5 over Cannonball Run.
Great input on the HS Basketball blog Blast. Thanks!
And we all know the only high school in the whole Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to beat Wilt Chamberlin his senior year when he played for Overbrook was...... Farrell :)
That's something to be very proud of when you come from a little Steel town like that. Great history(specially in HS sports) is pretty much all that's left to Farrell. Damn shame but it is what it is. Home is home no matter how depressing it is now.
Oh well, our season opener in football opens against Sharon in the annual Steel Bowl. A hundred years could pass and hating on Sharon will never get old. lol
PSU's basketball team? You know I love the fact that David Jackson is from Farrell and plays for them. He had a pretty good season last year.
The answer to your Freddy question is no. I knew they were holding him out of the series because the Bucs didnt want to trade him to SF why we were playing them and SF didnt want him playing against them as a Buc.
He will start tomorrow for SF vs Phi so there wasnt much wrong with his knee.
We got High single A ball pitcer Tim Alderson for Sanchez!!
I cant fucking believe we traded a top 10 MLB 2B for a fucking single A pitcher.
Fuck Nutting and fuck Huntington. Im so fucking pissed I wanna throw them both head first into a bear trap.
Another thing about fucking Huntington. This cocksucker was saying he didnt want to offer Jack more on the extention negotiations because he was and I quote "Below the league average at his position offensively" Note jack is hitting .267 this yr and .269 for his career... Ok So why the fuck do we go ahead and take on Ronny fucking Cedeno!! That fucker is average defensively at best, is hitting .164 this year and .238 in his 5 year career.
How the fuck does that make sense? Oh yeah maybe its cuz Jack's makin 7.4 and Snell 3.5 Mill this year and Cendeo is making 800k and Clement bein in AAA aint making shit. We also sent Seattle 3.3 million to help play the remaining 09 salaries for Snell and Jack why they play for Seattle!!
Dude, did you name LaDouche as your favorite player yesterday? lol
I know they like 2 trade any player you name as a favorite.
Anyways...I never was big on LaDouche, he never came close to what I thought he was gunna be. Every season when he finally got to heat up and got to hitting it was post all star break and we were already 10 games under .500 and 10+ games out of the division lead.
I dont know anything about them prospects but I didnt like hearing it was a A pitcher and an AA SS. Shit I thought we could have gotten somebody a lil more major league ready in return.
Couldnt of traded him at a worse time too. That big ass slump hes been in basically ruined his trade value.
Did you hear that the Pirates F.O. approached Freddy and Jack for contract extensions?
I think it would be a great idea and while I would love to believe that Jack and Freddy could stay in the 'Burgh, Nut Job and his idiot minions made it very clear it doesn't matter contractually if you stay in the City or not. Hopefully, they stay though. It's on the Pirates website if you haven't seen it yet. :)
