Black Numbers is an independent record label from New Jersey. We are in the midst of releasing records by Static Radio NJ, Purpose, and rock, star. After having experienced the recording, touring, booking, and merch aspects of our scene, we found it only right that we delve headfirst into a part of music that we don't know anything about and which costs lots of money. We are always looking for new bands, so if you'd like to send us something, by all means please do.
Black Numbers is pleased to announce the release of "Red on Black: Remixes by Matt Haick"; an album of remixes by producer, songwriter and remixer Matt Haick. Having played in numerous bands such as Nora , Merciana, and Hail and Fire, Matt has as of late been channeling most of his energy into remixing some very talented bands. Matt has done remixes for the likes of Shiny Toy Guns, Cursive, and Cobra Starship to name a few. He has also co-written select tracks on the upcoming Cobra Starship album. This installment of his work will include remixes of Boys Night Out, Jet Lag Gemini, Bedlight for Blue Eyes, The AKA's, You Say Party! We Say Die!, The Gay Blades, the Velvet Code; My Dear Disco and The Dirty Dirty . The rest of the lineup will be rounded out shortly.

Today I posted a new article about vinyl and record collecting. Virgil Dickerson from Vinyl Collective and Eric Mueller at Pirates Press were kind enough to answer a ton of questions I sent to them and I think it all turned out great. I also had the opportunity to interview the guys often reffered to as the "Wayne's World of record collecting" - Josh and Ken of Vinyl Vlog. They decided to answer my questions by video and I think it turned out great as well. You'll find the video on the bottom of the article. If you like vinyl and collecting records, check this one out! Cheers!
