So
this is *almost* it! The captain and the Darkstar's crew are leaving
Black Planet for more pirate adventures in the deep abyss of the
Universe.
It all sparked out of a space pirate fantasy delirium
and a drunken night out filled with boredom to become one of the most
friendly gathering of dark and beautiful souls in the town of Bedford.
One night out and Emma and Sabby became the proud mamas of newly born
Sister Moon Promotions and its infamous dark alternative gig/club night
Black Planet.
We saw great live acts, formed incredible
friendships, danced, drunk, celebrated and enjoyed every single event.
We humbly hope that you can say the same because this night was for you
guys, for the scene we feel privileged to be part of. Thank you all for
your ongoing support.
We shall always remember Saturday 15th of
September 2007 as one of the most memorable days of our lives. The day
or should we say the night where we saw The Ghost of Lemora and the
Tallyman's Dark Omnibus shaping the dreams of two "fairy-la-la headed"
girls on the stage of The Angel. You guys will always remain our lucky
charms, our very friends. Many other great Artists have followed and
graced our stage ever since and those shall also be remembered as friends.
Begining of 2008 The Angel was no more but not defeated for the least we relocated to Bedford's
greatest alternative local "The Bear" were Black Planet re-invented
itself as the darkest and gloomiest alternative DJ pub night in Bedford
:) Thanks to resident DJ Cyber Andy hard work and dedication as well as
all our amazing guests DJs and our fellow attendees.
Now has come the time to
put Black Planet to rest till the next great occasion. The monthly
event is no more!

Bedfordshires award winning club night and biggest gothic gathering - The Coven, will be massing once more under the dark arches on Saturday 9th May with resident DJs Nephilimbabe, CovenAlex, and guest DJane Velouria-Rose for another great mix of trad goth, industrial, deathrock, post-punk, new wave etc.
