Black Radio/The Ruling Class Split
Bootleg Booze Records
Split 7” that seems to be a semi-concept piece about, I think, highway murder. Black Radio are Brit brawlers who play ferocious speed-rock with gnarly metallic leads. It’s like that movie with the flying guillotines, just non-stop panic and head-chopping. Fucking crazy. Ruling Class are Swedes. They play muscle-car rock, fast n’ furious, but with a dollop of melody, I’m assuming, to bait the chicks into their car. Their death car!

No Frills, No Skills, Stripped Down And Faster Than Your V8!
Self-Released 2006
BLACK RADIO are Brit hellraisers fueled on MOTORHEAD, Swedish action rock, and what sounds like some mighty big fuckin' grudge, as evidenced by the angry, violent pounding they lay on their instruments in this onslaught of speed and power.
Four tracks, each one meaner than the next, but for pure headbanging kicks, I'll give it to the thrashing "Run You Down", which features some of the most out-of-control drumming this side of Electric Teeth. The black n' red splatter-swirl vinyl looks like an infected wound and the fast, fucked and furious grooves etched into it are pure, uncut amphetamine punk n' roll. Intense. - Sleazegrinder

The real unexpected, blowing out revelation is without any doubt Black Radio. These three guys were the first to play, completely unknown so far. After one song, the whole room was head-banging following the infernal rhythm of the drums. I can feel you want to know how this powerful trio sounds like, so let's describe their straightforward approach of punk-hardcore. You will have to go back into your memory, let's say around 2000. You have to find back THE NERVE AGENTS (Days of the White Owl), along with SPEEDDEALER (Here Comes Death) and THE DISTILLERS (Sing Sing Death House).
