Influences
80's rock and metal.
Heavily influenced by some great Rock bands from the 80's like Van Halen , Dokken , Ratt , Iron Maiden , Kiss , Y&T , The Scorpians , Wasp , Def Leppard and AC/DC.
More modern influences are Nickleback , Foo Fighters , Zakk Wilde and Audioslave.

1980's heavy rock , lots of screaming chanting vocals , heavy drums , thumping bass and flashy guitar solos - Ya gotta Luv It !!
Black Rose were formed back in the early 1980's in the North East of England.
We released quite a few records including various singles ,ep's and 2 albums - Boys Will Be Boys ( Bullet records 1984 ) and Walk It How You Talk It ( Neat records UK - AJK USA 1987 ).
After splitting up in 1989 two original members of the band Steve Bardsley ( that's me on Lead Vocals & Guitar ) and Chris Watson ( Lead Guitar ) decided to get back together and write some brand new material.
We were joined by Kiko Rivers ( Bass Guitar ) and then original band member Mal ' malla ' Smith ( Drums ) has now joined up with the rest of us and we're working in the studios recording material for a new album which should be released sometime in the near future.
Also we've just had a 15 track compilation cd featuring some of our 80's material , released on Majestic Rock records called ' Bright Lights Burnin' and it's available now from various internet music sites ( Amazon , CD universe , CD Now etc. )

Ok guys at long last we have finally recorded some brand new songs and samples of 4 of them are now on here for you to listen to.
These are the first new tracks we've done for nearly 20 years and hopefully a CD album of all the new stuff we've done will be released in the near future.
