PROFILE / ENGLISH: Cristhián Ramos a.k.a. Dj Black Soul, Chilean Dj and Producer,
one of the precursors of the Jungle-Drum and Bass scene in his country. He began
mixing records 12 years ago, with a marked tendency toward Afro-American styles such as
Reggae, Dub, Trip-Hop and Breakbeat, dedicating himself finally to Drum' n' Bass in
mid 1999.
His presentations are characterized with a great empathy
with the public and an impeccable technique of mixing and turntablism, raising
the beat to 180 bpm using his own tunes, and the last cuts and promos of the most important
artists of the world D&B scene. He has published material edited by the Seven Records label
(Mexico).
In the year 2004 he collaborated in the creation of the first virtual community of D&B
in Chile (www.naciondnb.com), taking charge of producing a weekly D&B radio
show called 60 Htz on that site. He has mixed in an endless
number of clubs, events, festivals and raves, where he has played next to outstanding Djs
such as Bryan Gee (UK), Ramilson Maia (Brazil), Pars (Germany), Pab (Australia), Bad Boy
Orange (Arg.), Redrum (Germany) and Uter (Arg.).
His participations in raves such as: Euphoria 2000 (20.000 people), Dementia Massive 2002 (6.000 people),
Euphoria 2003 (30.000 people), Love Parade Chile 2005 (100.000 people), Love Parade Chile 2006
(200.000 people), among others, were exceptional.
At present he is also producing and resident of a recognized cycle of weekly drum and bass
parties called Jungle Soldiers since April 2005, and a monthly cycle parties called Audiomorphosis, which have been transformed into the main D&B
reference party in the Chilean capital.

En el año 2004 colabora en la creación de la primera comunidad virtual D&B en Chile www.naciondnb.com, haciéndose cargo de producir un dnb radio show semanal llamado 60 Htz a través del mismo sitio.
Ha pinchado en un sin fin de Clubs, eventos, festivales y raves, donde a tocado junto a connotados Djs como Bryan Gee (UK), Ramilson Maia (Brazil), Pars (Alemania), Pab (Australia), Bad Boy Orange (Arg.), Redrum (Alemania) y Uter (Arg.). Destacan sus participaciones en raves como Euphoria 2000 parque O’higgins (20.000 personas), Dementia Masivo 2002 Estadio Chile (6.000 pesonas), Euphoria 2003 Pza. de la Constitución (30.000 personas), Love Parade Chile 2005 Parque forestal (100.000 personas), Love Parade Chile 2006 Alameda (200.000 personas) entre otras. Actualmente también es productor y residente un reconocido ciclo de fiestas drum and bass llamado Jungle Soldiers desde Abril 2005, y residente de un prestigioso ciclo de fiestas llamadas Audiomorphosis, referentes de la escena electrónica en la capital de Chile.
