BLACK STAR BRIGADE * (was) a 4 piece, high energy punk band, with catchy hooks and sing-a-long choruses. Proclaimers of ' Texas Street Punk Rock 'N Roll ' they played a "go for the throat" style of street punk, that blended the angst of the working class with the (sometimes rowdy) commradery of your best drinking buddies. Their live shows were loud, fast and full of raw untamed energy. Their ability to play with bands of all genres and still stand alone was the key to their success, and kept touring acts wanting to share the stage with them any chance they could get. Since 2001 Black Star Brigade has been fortunate to share the stage with many great bands (in random order): Ann Beretta, the Roustabouts, Hudson Falcons, the Cutthroat Hoods, Good Riddance, Raw Power, the GC5, Student Rick, the Forgotten, Lower Class Brats, Sixer, the Distillers, Krum Bums, the Misfits, the Ritchie Whites, Roger Miret & the Disasters, Pride Kills, Pistol Grip, Complete Control, the Unseen, Born To Lose, Street Dogs, the Briggs, Far From Finished, the Casualties, 7 Seconds, the Applicators, the Donnas, Groovie Ghoulies, Youth Brigade, Blitz, Rancid, the Briefs, Damage Case, Riverboat Gamblers, the Exploited, UK Subs, Total Chaos and many, many more....

I played a show with you guys and Krum-Bums about 7 or 8 years ago at The Black Cat Lounge (R.I.P.) In fact, I still have the flyer up on my wall at home. You guys were cool as fuck, so I got yo' back fo' life! Cut Throat Hoods represent! Holla!
"These Spanish lads combine a solid street punk sound with peppy '77 tunes. Think Toy Dolls and Rezillos meets Cock Sparrer. Yes indeed, that's really 12 hot shots!" Bandworm -Germany-
"Street rock’n’roll for punks, skins and hooligans. If you like Cock Sparrer, Cockney Rejects, Major Accident in a mix with some Ramones, then VonDänikens is the band for you. An album you shouldn’t miss!" Mpty zine -Romania-
"Tuneful, melodic rock 'n' roll streetpunk with lots of gang vocals on the choruses, and plenty of "whooa whooa"s going on. This is their 12 track album, and it's a cracker!" You can't Say No to Hope zine -UK-
"It is very efficient, good choruses, good melodies, good album, I like it!" Carry No Banners zine -France-
