THE LINE UP IS AUGUMENTED BY AL DICKENS ON THE BASS AND LIAM SINNOTT ON BACKING VOCALS AND THE DRUMS. WITH RECENT HEADLINE GIGS IN NORTH LONDON, HOMETOWN MILTON KEYNES NEARBY NORTHAMPTON AND SUPPORT SLOTS WITH NME FAVOURITES THE LEAVES, BLACKSTAR ARE LOOKING TO SPREAD THEIR SOUNDS FURTHER AND WIDER WITH NEW MATERIAL ALWAYS IN THE PIPELINE.
MARCH 2008 SAW BLACKSTAR RETURN TO THE STUDIO TO RECORD THREE TRACKS THAT HAD BECOME STAPLES OF THE LIVE SHOWS OF WINTER 2007/2008. THE TRACKS, PRODUCED BY LONG TIME ASSOCIATE GORDON COOK WERE RECORDED AND MIXED AT THE MR GIG STUDIOS IN BUCKINGHAMSHIRE AND ARE NOW UP ON THE SITE AND AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD.
