How does chemistry work? that's a good question. You can have all the talent imaginable in one room and nothing will happen or you stick 5 guys on a stage and something clicks.
Black Tea is a killer combination of danceable beats, thoughtful lyrics, and honest rock groove. A bubbling stew of influences brought to conception by an eccentric chef.
Take some Hard Rock; dust it with Psychedelia, Funk, Blues, Jazz, and anything else you want to throw in. Stir occasionally.
Formed originally as Beyond Therapy, by singer songwriter Don Norry, the band became Black Tea in 2005. They released their first CD “Hurricane on the edge of town” recorded at Scorpion Studios in 2007 and were nominated for a Hamilton Music Award for the best engineer ( Robert Bianchini).
Black Tea was featured on the Get Hammered show on Y108
Black Tea played the 2009 Festival of Friends sharing the stage with both local and international stars, and was a part of the 2009 Hamilton Music Awards Festival.Their new recording “Wrapped up in the Story” was recorded at Hive Studios in Hamilton.
Black Tea has included the talents of:

Hey Black Tea, How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight. Wood nymphs sprinkle your path with rose petals while you dance and prowl in the sequined moonlight with leftover cupcake sprinkles. Your wonderfully bright soul keep the demons from torturing me. Cities crumble, skies ignite spontaneously in your presence. May you be as vivid as your hallucinations. I desire to see life through your hallucinations so that they massage my viscera into an eternal state of turgid flux. Your sweet voice is like the application of aloe vera upon a sunburnt back. How can I help but use your eyes as a means for self-asphyxiation? The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. Your layers of absinthe and torsion form concretions of hyper-alimentation. Your eyes show as many deep and full shades of fire as a thousand supernovas. The sand runes crossing your divided consciousness do speak of contemptuous monsters being slayed by flying phoenixes.
Thank you for your comments on my musical collection.... I have had a real passion for good music ever since I was 'knee high to a grasshopper', so it is good to have you on board! Keep the good music coming
