What is Muay Thai?

Muay Thai, the Science of Eight Limbs, is derived from the ancient fighting methods of the Thai Army and is the national sport of Thailand. It is widely acknowledged as the most deadly and effective striking martial art in the world. If you've seen UFC, Pride, K-1, IFL, EXC, Bodogfight, etc. then you have seen Muay Thai incoroporated in the ring or in the cage to some degree.


Who can train Muay Thai?

It is a common misconception that Muay Thai is only for ring fighters and full contact competitors. This could not be further from the truth. Anyone who is willing to dedicate themselves mentally and physically to the art can train in Muy Thai. The art is about more than just fighting, it is also about making the fighter a better and more disciplined person in all aspects of life. "Gentle as a lamb; fierce as a lion" is the aim of Muay Thai training.
