Sounds Like
Ablend of Brit-pop, rock and classic rock, for example there are clear Oasis/Stone Temple Pilots influences throughout. People who like "easy-listening" classic rock with a modern twist will love Black Vendetta.
Vendetta also explore acoustic sets which only consist of Lloyd and Nathan. This is often a bare two guitar feel, with one rhythm and one lead. The songs have a warm feel and show the bands versitale writing skills. The guys focus on their song writing skills in this department and often go for less musically complex, but emotionally expressive pieces.
Simple but effective.
Black Vendetta consists of ex-Black Liquor members Lloyd Meeks and Nathan Virica, ex-Sergeant Jungle bassist Rob Miller and drummer Rob Gath. After splitting from Black Liquor, Lloyd and Nathan wanted one more stab at creating a band. Several members have been in the line-up, but now, after many months they have eventually settled on drummer Rob Gath, a very talented musician, and finally Rob Miller, a guitarist in his own right, making the transaction to the four-string for Vendetta. After forming properly since July 07, the band have played jam nights at the Blues Bar, several gigs in the surrounding area and recorded a debut album entitled So Hard To Live Easy.
They are currently busy doing live rehearsals in Knaresborough at True North studios, and have more live performances coming in '09. They are also recording their second album, entitled 'Young People Are Evil (It Says So On The Telly), which is soon to be finalised.
Vendetta are a committed, full-on rock band with many brit-rock and classic rock influences. Live performances is what they play for and the songs consist of simple, in-ya-face rock anthems and meaningful ballads within. The band are also experienced within acoustic work and have a separate acoustic set of a couple of covers and several own material, of which are extremely popular with Harrogate's Blues Bar crowd! Enjoy!
If you're getting this, its because you're a band we'v played with, who we liked.
We just want to let you all know that we have 3 new songs up on our player now, with more on the way in the next couple of months, & that as soon as we'v found a permanent keyboard/piano/synth player(& probably a bit before) we'l be gigging regularly again, & actively seeking support slots/acts. sp anyone interested in playing with us again, please let us know yeah??
Hey Black Vendetta If you have a minute, please come check out the new song Alex Hirsch wrote after reading Einstein's private manuscripts and quoting his memoirs directly. The song is called, The Stormy Seas of Time and features Ken Oak on the Cellos, Bionik on the Drums and Production, and of course, Alex Hirsch on the guitars pianos and singing. And remember, all it takes is 3 little dollars to get any of his full albums at www.keywinsproductions.com.
A fair price for up to 17 songs! Finally, good music that is priced correctly, not another record company rip off!
Hey guys, looking forward to playing with you at The New Roscoe on 9th August!
I've set up a page on Facebook to invite our friends to the New Roscoe gig, please feel free to use it to invite yours too, I've added a link to your my space.
Hey Black Vendetta! Come take a ride on a rocket ship with me to the outer reaches of the cosmos. We can take the time to look around and find out all the great and magical things about Einstein and physics and the world we live in.

PseudoNympho cordially invite/threateningly insist that you attend the blues bar from about 7.30pm on this coming sunday, for your own entertainment, pleasure, and sanity.
Kicking off the evening in mighty fine style will be Ben Sowden(described by Simon Munnery on bbc radio2 as "The new Vera Lynn"). Ben will be playing some songs you may or may not have heard & may or may not say some very offensive & distasteful things, about people he may or may not have met, who may or may not deserve it, all in the name of entertainment and personal vendetta's.
Next up, rocking you out of your clothes, will be Leeds based sleaze rockers Honeycomb Love, who will be thrashing through a high intensity set of whiskey fuelled, diesel drinking rock and roll!! Blending glam, punk, metal and rock with sweat, blood, snot & teeth, & then spitting on it all, nicking its drinks & fucking its hot sister, ensuring total carnage beofre they leave the stage.
Finally, and returning to the blues bar for the first time since their long and costly legal battle over their old name(which we have been advised, by their lawyers, not to say on the internet anymore), PseudoNympho, the most exciting, innovative & passionate young band in the north, will be capping off the night with their unique take on the current sleaze scene, melting it down & re-forging it in a newer, more menacing shape of their own design, with added grunge, psychedelia & pop. When not baffling the baying crowd with half-funny private jokes, they can be counted on to sneer, snarl, and scream their way through the new set, & maybe bring 1 or 2 tired & dying songs out of retirement, chained & caged, for a novelty flogging!!
as if that all wasnt so good you'd mortgage your parents home or mug your granny on pension day to be there... you dont have to bother!! ITS FREE!!!!! SO THERES NO EXCUSE FOR NOT GOING!!!!
Hey, mind if we put the reluctance on the bill as 1st support, they'll bring at least 15 people and theres plenty of time, just we owe them a gig and so onnnn
how much is it to get in?? And whens the HGS battle of the bands because I may be doing a gig with Bentley at Charities Week and maybe we could enter it possibly but if its like april or may wb
