In the middle of year 2003, four friends were joined with the wish to play metal, in the begining was just:Rafael on the vocals, Flavio Fearn on the bass guitar, Robson on the guitars and Tiago playing drums. And
BLACK VERSES was born...
In 2004 Flavio Fearn leave the band and they continue with the band without a bass player.
The line-up change again: Tiago leave the band, and Joao take the drums. Breno, a keyboarder make the band become more sentimental.
They decide to record a demo tape called only "Black Verse", having 3 musics on total:"Things of my world", "Beautiful lies" and "Eternity is you".
In the begining of year 2005, Flavio Fearn return to the band, and the line-up was completed with:Rafael(vocals), Robson(Guitars), Flavio Fearn(bass), Breno(keys) and Joao(drums).
Some months later, Robson decide to leave the band, and in the second half of 2005 Joao and Breno leave the band too.
Flavio Fearn goes to the guitars, Douglas Cabral (lord Panga) take the drums and Moises take the bass guitar.
The "dream team" of Black Verses was made in 28th of july of 2005.
Some months later, in september 25th, they do your first show, the set list with 6 musics only:Things of my world, Dark(while you..re livin in me), you try to invade me, wingless angel, she is the dark(my dying bride) and threin(dark tranquillity).
After this, Black verses become the revelation metal band from your state.
In the same months they return to the studio to record your second demo:"The begining of all suffering", could be 4 tracks, but because they were without professional equipaments and money , they..d record only:"Dark(while you..re living in me)" and "things of my world".
In the end of the year, Welton Cavalcante complete the line-up playing another guitar.
Finally in spring's 2006 Black Verses return to the studios to record your fisrt Ep, called "Our Lost Eternity"...
so it shall be written - so it shall be done...

Na segunda metade do ano de 2003, quatro amigos com gostos
musicais em comum decidiram formar uma banda pra poder tocar seu estilo de música predileto o Heavy Metal.
Foi aí que surgiu a BLACK VERSES , com Rafael Souza nos vocais,
Robson Maciel nas Guitarras, Flavio Fearn no Baixo e Tiago Morgado na batera.
No início de 2004 Flavio Fearn deixa a banda seguido depois por Tiago.
João assume a batera e logo depois eles gravam uma demo tape, auto intitulada Black Verse, contendo três músicas gravadas ao vivo num estúdio:"Things of my world", "Beautiful lies" e "Eternity is you" e logo depois decidem pôr um tecladista,
daí entra Breno.
O Line-up da banda era o seguinte
nessa época:Rafael nos vocais, Robson na guitarra, João na batera e Breno nos teclados.
No início de 2005 Flavio Fearn retorna a banda e reassume o Baixo,
mas daí quando ia tudo bem Robson decide largar a banda juntamente com João e Breno.
A banda estava prestes a acabar quando Flavio Fearn decide assumir
a Guitarra e eles encontram novos amigos, Moisés Nascimento
assume o baixo e Douglas Cabral a batera.
Com esse formação eles entram em estudio pra gravar o que viria a ser sua segunda demo-tape e gravam, mesmo sem muitos recursos e sem equipamentos profissionais, "The beginning of all suffering", com duas músicas apenas:"Dark(while you're livin in me) e "Things of my world".
No fim do ano mais um guitarrista entra na banda, Welton Cavalcante, e com essa formação lançam seu primeiro EP chamado: "Our Lost Eternity", completamente independente.
No início de 2007 o baterista Douglas Cabral sai da banda e a banda decide por dar um tempo. No mesmo ano ainda tocaram no maior festival de Rock n Roll de seu estado, o Quartel do Rock, com o Vocalista Rafael tocando também bateria. O festival contou ainda com participação de bandas como Silent Cry, Malefactor e Atheistic, grandes nomes do Metal Nacional.
Logo após o festival, um dos mentores da banda, Flavio Fearn, decide sair da banda por diferenças de opnião referente ao som que a banda deveria tocar.
Depois disso a banda continuou a ensaiar e a compor novas músicas mas acabou por decidir dar um tempo no início de 2008.
Nessa época o Guitarrista Welton decide deixar a banda para ir tocar com outra banda local, a Darktale, e a Black Verses decidiu parar por tempo indeterminado.
No início de 2009 Rafael Souza e o antigo guitarrista Flávio Fearn decidiram que iriam reformular a banda e tentar reunir a formação de 2006 que gravou o EP "Our Lost eternity". Depois de se reunir com os outros antigos membros, decidiram que haveria um novo retorno da banda durante esse ano mas sem o guitarrista Welton Cavalcante que, por sua vez, não demostrou interesse em retornar a Black Verses, pois sua atual banda se prepara para gravar um CD e com isso a formação provável da Black Verses será com Rafael Souza nos vocais, Flavio Fearn nas guitarras, Moisés Nascimento no contra-baixo e Douglas Cabral na bateria.
