Nealee is a newcomer to the Twin Cities music scene, but should not be underestimated. Blackwatch auditioned more than a dozen singers with a wide range of experience, but the first time we heard Nealee's powerful vocals, we knew the search was over! Nealee also brings a commanding presence to the stage, and we're looking forward to some explosive shows with her in the spotlight!

Having played since he was four, Kyle is a hard-hitting drummer with a rock solid sense of tempo. Kyle also brings extensive live playing, touring and recording experience from several original projects, and as such is the perfect fit for the core of a rockin' cover band like Blackwatch. Kyle considers his style to be punk rock, but consistenly amazes us with his seemingly effortless ability to pick up the sticks and play anything we throw at him. Keep tabs on Kyle, as he is sure to become one of the Twin Cities' premiere drummers!

Mx is an intensely creative and multi-talented musician who also prefers a little privacy about his image and persona. He brings years of band experience, a wicked bass style and an exciting presence to the stage, and is sure to captivate audiences wherever he goes.

Chris started playing the guitar at age 13 after several years of piano lessons and growing musical interest. He spent the next 10 years playing in various rock bands including Kalimari, Aberration, and Mezzanine Stair while also playing in jazz ensembles well into college where in addition to earning an engineering degree he studied music theory. After college Chris joined the band Bryl King and the Little Dab'l Do Ya's (BKD) and led efforts to incorporate more complex music into the set list. 3 years with BKD further influenced Chris to seek out or form a band with an emphasis on crowd pleasing harder rock. Chris met Brett in the fall of 2007 and after several months of auditions, planning, and hard work, Blackwatch was formed.

Brett began playing guitar at the age of six, and continued on to study at the University of Minnesota and MacPhail Center for the Arts. Throughout his many years of playing, Brett has played and recorded alongside local indie guitar hero Terry Eason, 12 Rods drummer Christopher McGuire, members of Skywind and Christian recording artist Charity. Brett's blues-based rock tone has helped shape the sound of several bands and has delighted thousands of audience members across the United States, Nova Scotia and South Korea. As in previous projects, Brett also adds a backing vocal talent to Blackwatch, as well as some leads.
