    Blackwaters are a hard rock band from South Wales with influences from all types of classic rock, modern rock and metal. The band began late 2009 with Craig, Jeff and Mikey meeting through a musicians add's website. Dan Davies joined the trio mid 2010 and a singer soon followed. Unfortunately, we parted ways shortly after and had the tough task of finding the right front man. After a couple of potentials we found the right person for the job, in October 2010 Paul 'G' Walsh came to auditon and became our front man and vocalist, getting ready to play a gig in a matter of weeks! We LIVE for pressure!!! 2011 saw Dan decide to change direction and left the band in October, but not before completing our run in the Surface Festival 2011 event, which culminated with a showcase gig at London's IndigO2 arena - what a way to go out! In March/April 2012 Craig decided he too wanted to change direction and is looking to return to his punk roots and concentrate on some projects of his own. The search for a drummer was relentless. After a string of auditions the slot was eventually filled by Oli Watkins, he came in after learning our songs from the demo and blew us away - he just fit right in with our songs. Oli joined the band as of December 2011 and brings with him a lot of guns! Look out ladies! C'pow! C'pow! Luckily, the search for a bassist was a lot easier thanks to Rob being involved with Jeff, Mikey and Oli's side project covers band. After a week (well) spent learning our songs and just one audition, we knew Rob Knight was the man for the job and joins the band on bass as of May 2012. Bringin with him a bass that can only be described as a spaceship model! And he plays it with style! After all this, surely there has to be a pot of gold around here somewhere... So......We're getting ready to play some shows, itching to get out the door and blast some riffage at your faces all over again!!!! The History
