I love the music video. It captures some of the essence of Dayton. As soon as you make an album with neat professional packaging you will have money flowing from me into your pockets in exchange for one. Better yet - finish making packaging for those recordings you made last year at that studio for three days. I'll buy one of those for sure.
we do the recording ourselves in pretty much the worst way possible but the only way that i can do it without programs messing up and me hating the world. but our basic setup is one usb mic that is recorded with windows sound recorder and then it is put together in fruity loops.
and we will definitely be playing together in the near future.
Black wolf fight? More like black wolf FRIGHT. Because even if you are a k9 you can still be a scaredy cat!!!! Love the tunes though. What is the Gem City Jam? Where is it? I would love to come to a show.
i like "at last" a lot EXCEPT i don't like the piano. i have a bit of a vendetta against the fake piano sound not only because my parents never let me get a real piano, but also because it always sounds so weak. also what is played during that part doesn't really accomplish anything, it's just sort of playing around with a few notes and makes the song feel sort of jammy if you know what i mean. like it's playing it safe. throw on some other sort of sound, either a real piano or a synth or something and also possibly change up the melody a bit and you got yourself a hit in my book. everything else on the song sounds real good.
i like them all a lot though. a couple of unsynched moments but you guys have a good sound that is well recorded. my favorite is probably riding on dun laoghaire. your cd definitely has a road trip vibe. sort of docile most of the time but not stagnant or boring since it flows so well and has good build ups that don't feel angry or anything like they often do in post-rock songs that end up being like metal songs (which i don't like). also has that american west sort of thing going for it to match the traditional western road trip concept.
