Loner type, but have lots of folks i'm friendly with. i work as a personal assistant and i play ice hockey. lots of ice hockey. i'm at the rink quite a bit, either playing, providing a running commentary on the craptastic things i witness or scorekeeping - i'm boring that way.
if i'm not at the rink, i'm out supporting local music or i'm at home, reading or watching some sci-fi movie or series. yes, i am a star wars dork...freely admit it!
before hockey, i did time at the texas renaissance festival, first as a gypsy, then as a member of the barbarian horde. those were the days!!! how i miss them. however, the weather was unpredictable and drunken rednecks are just not my thing, so i quit performing and started playing hockey instead...same rush, less extreme weather...but i exchanged drunken rednecks for drunken jocks!
still go out to visit the renfest and torment my old actor buds and enjoy the people watching and camping in the patron camp. you want an adventure? try the patron camp at the texas renaissance festival one night - think mental institution throws a rave and you'll be close.
My latest passion? WOLVES!!! There's a sanctuary in Montgomery, TX, about 65 miles north of Houston called The Wolves of St. Francis. I've just started volunteering to help clean wolf enclosures, cut up meat and take the wolves for walks and I couldn't be more happy about it!
