With pounding drums, crushing bass and chunky rhythm guitar, combined with harmonized technical riffs from their 2 lead guitarists, Bladen have a big sound instrumentally. The sound is made complete with loud, in your face vocals. Their music is heavy and powerful but at the same time has a melodic twist give to their sound a different feel.
Bladen are a six piece metal band hailing from Bolton, UK. Forming in August 2006, Bladen dedicated themselves to constant practises at Redbridge studios in the eight months leading up to their debut gig at Bolton’s premier metal festival: Metal Massacre, an annual event that was in its fifth year running. This proved to be a colossal success for Bladen, receiving an overwhelming response from the 400 plus crowd and having to remove their EP and merch from their stall before stocks ran out for future gigs that month.
Since then Bladen have travelled all over England, embarking on a UK Headline tour for 8 consecutive days with support from such bands as Carnal Rites, Blood Vigil, See Red and Dream Atlantic. To help promote the tour Bladen recorded the track “Euthanasia” and put together a free distributional CD featuring a selection of bands who lent their support on the tour. Along the way Bladen have shared stages with bands such as Panic Cell, Allejen, FuryUK, Speedtheory and The Aftermath, gaining a good reputation and a solid fan base throughout the UK.
Moving in to the new-year Bladen entered talks with Padded Cell Records, planning a 10 track album and a nationwide tour to strengthen the already enthusiastic fan base and their own legacy. In addition to this, Bladen have recently launched their own street team, with members joining across England to help promote future music and live shows. Furthermore, Bladen are now working with ATF development to facilitate bringing in more gigs, promo and get the ball rolling on a much bigger scale. With support slots coming up for Raging Speed Horn on stage at furnes fest, Bladen are already moving with a good momentum that they intend to carry far into their future. “If you aint watching them now, your gonna miss the start of something big”

"It's that American voice again"
Now that Flickr has shut me down AGAIN I've decided to focus on my videos more than pictures for a bit and have started to make censored ones to reach more people.
I should be able to get about 40 more of these done when I find all of the right music. I have around 150 hours of footage sitting in a suitcase waiting. I'm ranting, as I do...

And of course I rant in real time at

Thank you for helping me promote. I've done a terrible job of it in the past.
