I've been in Japan for nearly a week now. Cool place, I'm living in Osaka city. It's so different to NZ. I feel so much safer on the streets, and everyone's so respectful (sorry NZ, we have a lot to learn from these people). Lots of bicycles, bright lights, huge underground, it's bigger than you can imagine. There's well over two times NZ's population living in Osaka alone! ... I will visit Tokyo soon.
Been recording sounds I hear and started writing a song. I will put it up here when it's done.

Bought airplane tickets lastnight and will be leaving for Japan next month. I will stay there for 3 months as a UK tourist. Bringing a small recording rig with me so I hope to get some new stuff done and mix some older stuff. Also, we are doing a shoot for Nihon E very soon. Lots going on. Nyes.

Wow, I haven't written anything on here for a while. My website is also really out of date (i might just redirect it to here). Been busy as always. Had a good holiday in August and then started a new job as a 3d animator/programmer.
We just played a very cool gig at a little outdoor festival named "Little Day Out". I've uploaded a foto from the gig. I hope I can find some more from other people who had cameras that day. Lotsa people walkin around, so the place got muddy as the day went. I fell over twice.
I will upload some new tracks soon and also get to grips with the myspace music store. I have a lot of older music, which needs to be put on there.
New upcoming tracks are "Mother Machine", an industrial electronic rock song and "Sneak Out, Make Out", a cute but dirty electronica track.
ABOUT ME
*******************************************************
Blain likes to make things. One lunch time, as a five year old, he conned the other children and took every block in the classroom. With these blocks he built a large house for the other children to play in. And they did. The supervising teacher had probably head off for a coffee, or to do whatever it is teachers do during lunch hour. On return she was horrified to find a monstrosity set to collapse at any moment with little children inside. She stamped her authority and took Blain aside for a little chat...
... But Blain's obsession continued. As he grew older he built more than just a soap box derby car. He built waterslides, small roller-coasters, giant swings, a halfpipe, a luge track, ghost houses... the kid was not normal.
So time passes and has anything changed? Not really. Blain still likes to make things. But instead of trying to build the latest theme park ride, he is more content in writing music. He played in a band, travelling around New Zealand, playing shows while making animated videos. He had fun, but something wasn't right. You see, why be in a band with humans when you could make a virtual robotic band? And so begins a new phase of the madness...
Where could this all lead to?
Well, maybe Blain will create virtual fans, virtual groupies, a virtual music industry... hell, he might even end up replacing his girlfriend with a robot. Will it ever end? Probably not. Maybe when he dies he will create a virtual God and heaven.

Enjoying that new tune... You were the musical highlight of the Little Day Out, as far as I'm concerned... although I particularly enjoyed slipping down into the thawn bushes and ruining my Milk Lime Green Polyester Suit from 1972... it was a very good year.
