The Valley Fiesta will be spectacular as everyone comes together at what has fast become the leading venue for alternative entertainment in the valley. The bands are the best in their field and the best thing is the event is free. Between and after bands, Brisbanes finest alternative DJs come together and will be playing indie, electro, rock, hip hop and alternative party tracks until dawn. We will be joining the mighty Eloquence and Truths this time around at the Irish with our good friend DJ Ramrod spinning records all night. Eloquence and Truths have had a meteoric rise through the ranks having played and toured with the likes of Funkoars, Drapht, Muph n Plutonic and more, they are set to rock the spot in a major way. Also joining the bill for the night will be Brisbane emcee Tenduckets and Joey Cincere. The Lowdown are set to bring the house down at The Joynt once again Friday September 4. This a free entry event and judging from the last couple of shows TLD have done there you best arrive early and in the mood to groove. Music will kick off at 9 with Nicole Mcintyre doing a mellow set of acoustic tunes to ease you into the night. The Lowdown will take the stage around 10 and will be playing an extended set encompassing some new material, freestyles and improvised jams.
Don't miss this as it will be a night to bne remembered.

Catch The Kidney Thieves at their last show for a while before recording their upcoming release, which is due early next year. The Kidney Thieves have had a massive year so far with a National Tour and are set to explode becoming by far one of Brisbanes best live bands. They will be showcasing all their talents at the Club Blink 1 Year Anniversary Party at 293 - 299 Brunswick St Mall, The Valley, supported by YEO AND THE FRESH GOODS (one show only) and good Sydney buddies NUCLEUS. Join the funk bus!!! Fans of any of the above bands based in Brisbane are invited to join Blakboard on a bus that we are chartering to drive up to Woombye for this gig, returning after the gig is over. Tickets will include the bus ride and the ticket into the show and cost $35 per head!
