About me:
Hey everyone! My name is Blake... and I have told myself for the last year and a half that I would one day update my about me section. Well, as many of you know, college is a period time in life where change occurs almost hourly. Having said that, I am typing this as a temporary greeting to all the visitors to my profile. I WILL (if I push myself) update this section in the NEAR FUTURE. I hope that everyone can wait for it... LOL!
Who I'd like to meet: Wow...
First off, the Zamboni man from Happy Gilmore... because it takes A LOT of talent to sing lines from both Lionel Richie and Diana Ross at the exact same time!
C.S. Lewis, Zooey Deschanel (favorite actress), Will Ferrell, Danica Patrick, Todd Walker & Derrek Lee. Oh yeah, and David Letterman so I could tell him how quickly he lost my respect.
And Scott Van Pelt: the funniest sports-anchor of ALL-TIME!
Hey, I talked to Janna last night and she said you maybe had a work conflict with Romania but weren't sure yet. It is looking like I am not going to get to go with the group because of a class, but I am planning on leaving sometime with in the week after they do so if it works out better for you, you are more than welcome to fly out w/ me. I'm just not sure when it will be yet.
thanks! Yeah I've had a great break so far. I've celebrated with family for the past couple of days and I'm enjoying all this great time away from school! How was your Christmas? :]
What I was told is... Mr. Gibbs talked to Buster and told him that the class needed to make (or something to that effect) and Buster told him that the class would make.
And, Mr. Gibbs is teaching all Theory and Aural Skills classes, so I am pretty excited.
what, do you think, makes good art? what, in art, appeals to you most, visually and beyond? how does art affect you positively, and how does it negatively?
and, i guess, on a more self-centered level: what is your initial reaction to my artwork?
i've never seen elf (i enjoy life beneath my rock -- it has grown some wonderful moss, recently), but i loved tin man...
&, it's outrageous amounts of flattering to hear that you have enough confidencein my work to say something like that -- whether you are serious or simply complimenting.
i wish that i were capable of teaching. my ability to effectively communicate is about as developed as scrambled eggs. but, hah, i could try, if you'd like...
