About me:

Catch me on 93.3 WMMR and streaming at www.wmmr.com:
Sunday, Nov. 22 - 10am-3pm
Saturday, Nov. 28 - 10am-3pm
Sunday, Nov. 29 - 10am-3pm
Check out "Blake's Picks" in each issue of Pulse Weekly, available for free at over 800 locations in the Lehigh Valley, PA area.

I've been heard on a dubious list of rock radio stations in Eastern PA (and the rawk town of Missoula, MT) over the past 15 years before making my way to the class act that is 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia. I kid - there's been some fun times at my past stations. Along the way I've also done PR for various non-profit arts organizations, written for a few publications, and was a Founder and Principle Partner in a licensed band booking agency for about 20 minutes. More often than not I've enjoyed the journey, so that's good. ha.

In this deep economic recession I find myself without a full-time job. I'm looking to use my experience and attributes to land a career in Public Relations, Entertainment Booking, or continue in radio once the smoke clears. I was rated #1 at the three stations that I did full-time Afternoons for - WODE, WZZO, KBAZ.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to use my interests in reading, writing, and gathering and disseminating information to work for a socially-responsible company that is strong enough, both morally and financially, to take care of it's employees (ESPECIALLY in hard times) and whose output is something that improves people's lives in a very real way, whether it's an entertainment, humanitarian, or environmental organization. That's not too much to ask, is it? If YOU can answer that question, please contact me.

Before the Music Dies. Seek out this movie and watch it.
