Worshipping God through music is the very reason that Blake Goss sings and plays
guitar. He first picked up the guitar in 1999 with the intent of singing praise
and worship songs to God during his quiet times. From then on he fell in love
with music and made it a part of his everyday life. He began leading worship
for youth groups around Cobb County. His passion spread from leading worship to
teaching others about worship and what worship truly means. He has been blessed
with the privilege of giving guitar lessons and training upcoming youth in
becoming worship leaders as well as forming their own praise bands.
God took his worship-leading experience to the next level by opening up the
opportunity to form a band called “Thief on the Right” in the summer of 2003.
He has traveled with the band from venue to venue sharing the message of Christ through worship and rock music. “Thief on the Right” has recorded two cds and played at multiple
DiscipleNows, summer camps, and various youth and college events. This
experience matured Blake as a worship leader and gave him a broader exposure to
the youth of our society and their needs for Jesus.
After graduating college, Blake went into full time ministry as a worship leader. It was during this time Blake released his first solo project CD called “See Into Me.”
This CD was recorded in Nashville with some of the finest producers, musicians,
and writers. He currently travels and leads worship for all kinds of youth groups, conferences, camps, and DiscipleNows. Blake is also the full time Worship Pastor of Freedom Church in Acworth, Georgia.
God taught Blake that being a worship leader has very little to do with the
music aspect but rather it is being an everyday example of one who passionately
worships Christ with his or her life. Standing before youth with a guitar is
only a small part of the responsibility God has given him as a worship leader.
He feels that how he lives his life behind closed doors is the most essential
part of being a leader. His ministry is worth everything when he looks out and
sees people truly surrendering to God through music and knowing he had a small
part in leading them to the presence of God. He is simply a tool God has chosen
to pick up and use through His perfect will to glorify Him.

yoooo blake, it's tony. the one that went to alaska. its cold up here. it was -2 out this morning and we had to run 4 miles this morning in it and i got contact frost bite because my eys watered and when we started running they froze to my face and i couldn't move my jaw. but i go to luissanna in january to attach to to the 1-25th striker bregade combat team (infantry) for deployement training. i went to range tuesday and finally got issued my 203, its and M16 with a grenade launcher attached. it sucked to clean, but ey give me a call or text any time, i would do text though cause we are 4 hours behind yall and im usually still working. i got some great alaskan pics. snow, and more snow, skii slopes and more snow. in every parking lot you go running full speed and just stop and youll slide to the other end...all parking lotts have 2 inches of ice them. lol 404-513-6693
