Starting out as most young teenagers in the early 90's Blake was inspired and directed into music by Seattle's swarm of super successes like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. However his true passion for songwriting and lyrical content came into full bloom when he discovered the legends who became his teachers and influences. At the top of this list of mentors is the 60's songwriting icon Bob Dylan. Followed by artists such as Neil Young, Lou Reed, David Bowie, Tom Petty and more recent successes REM, Elliott Smith, Lou Barlow and Beck. *************
