Description: Be among the first to hear this exciting new tribute CD to Cy Coleman, the youngest member of the elite group of Great American Songbook composers (Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin). Before an intimate audience of 200 in the Museum's GRAMMY Sound Stage, hear Jill Sobule, Sara Watkins, Perla Batalla, and Julianna Raye perform Coleman's classic songs with the album's producer and musical arranger, Dave Palmer. Music critic Chris Morris will moderate a discussion of the new recordings and afterwards, the artists will sign copies of the album.

Curated by friend and former band-mate Will Carruthers, the show is the culmination of a lifetime’s work for Brooker. “Natty is a genius, pure and simple. His influence as an artist on the British music scene was far reaching. What many people don’t know is that Natty now has terminal cancer, so this will be the first and last time people will have the opportunity to see his amazing work as a collection.”

Over 250 guests joined Gen Art for Fulton Market's annual art extravaganza where visitors experienced some of the city’s most unique galleries, cutting- edge fashion boutiques, progressive theatre, and much more.
Guests explored the Fulton Market neighborhood and visited boutiques Pivot and Bess & Loie, Prism and Kasia Kay art galleries, the Building Stage theatre, Basia Froassard home fashions, plus many more creative open houses.
Pick up coveted fashion finds, amazing home décor and original art in Chicago’s hip meat- packing district, where forklifts meet fashionistas and gallerinas.

Gen Art hosted a special advance screening of TWO LOVERS (Starring Gwyneth Paltrow & Joaquin Phoenix,) with an uber fabulous after-party at South Beach's hottest club LOUIS at the Gansevoort Hotel - DJ Johnny The Boy created the musical backdrop to an evening of dancing, drinks and fun -everyone had a blast!
Gen Art Cinema Circle: Official LA Premiere and After-Party for FANBOYS -- Director Kyle Newman and wife actress Jaime King walked the red carpet along with cast members, Dan Fogler, Sam Huntington, Chris Marquette and Kristen Bell. Bell got cozy on the carpet with Chewbacca and posed with Star Wars’ Stormtroopers, R2 D2 and a host of costumed characters. Additional celebrities attending included Selma Blair (NBC’s Kath & Kim), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) and Zachary Levi (NBC’s Chuck). Following the film guests were treated to a moderated discussion with Director Newman, and the actors. Guests then moved into the Clarity Theater’s atrium for a reception with beverages provided by TY KU, PINK Vodka, Firestone Walker Brewing Co. and Kim Crawford Wines. Catering was provided by Jennie Cooks Catering Company. Additional support provided by Acura, Angeleno magazine and The Weinstein Company. www.fanboys-themovie.com
