BIOGRAPHY
The Italian psych - pop duo, La Blanche Alchimie, is formed by Federico Albanese and Jessica Einaudi.
They started making music together in March 2007. After a period of exploration and experimentation, playing with the possibilities inherent in fusing torch melodies, acoustic-rock sounds and cool beats, they found their own unique voice.
It was the right time to record the nine original tracks that compose their homonymous album, ‘La Blanche Alchimie'. Their songs are like magic dreams made of fairy tales and refined talking instruments.
Federico is a multi-instrumentalist who faces music in a sophisticated and whirling way. His piano and guitar notes create the ideal musical tissue for Jessica's musical perceptions; her mercurial and emotive vocals carry words of passion and unstableness.
Their songs are very individual, unquestionably romantic but at the same time intringuinly skewed and dreamlike exploration of love in all its facets.
The harmonies and the continual dialogue between voice and music produce a very original sound.
La Blanche Alchimie had a remarkable success during their live shows, and they have the ability to bring to life the romantic and decaying atmospheres interweaved in their songs. In 2008 they played at In The City Festival in Manchester and took part of some of the most important festivals in Italy.
Their first album got released June 2009.

LA BLANCHE ALCHIMIE, la cui storia musicale nasce a Milano nel 2007, è un duo psych- pop formato da Federico Albanese e Jessica Einaudi.
Dopo svariate esperienze di ricerca individuale e collaborazione con altri musicisti, i due iniziano a sperimentare, un po’ per gioco, un po’ per passione e intraprendono una strada che li porterà a scrivere e registrare quello che è il loro omonimo album di debutto, pubblicato su etichetta Ponderosa Music & Art nel giugno 2009.
In ‘LA BLANCHE ALCHIMIE’ si trovano canzoni fatte di sogni eterei, decorati da favole e strumenti parlanti, che si ispirano a diversi generi, dalla chanson francaise al rock sperimentale, alla musica elettronica fino alla musica classica, ricercando sempre un suono personale romantico e decadente, che sta ottenendo importanti riscontri tra i media italiani come testimoniato dalla raffica di consensi riscossi su tutte le riviste, musicali e non, webzine nazionali e circuiti radiofonici, in attesa per l’autunno del lancio del loro primo videoclip.
LA BLANCHE ALCHIMIE riscontra inoltre notevole successo durante le esibizioni live nelle quali riesce ad esprimere al massimo il proprio potenziale artistico, già mostrato in numerosi concerti in Italia e all’estero in importanti festival e club. Emozioni e coinvolgimento che troveranno nuovamente spazio nel prossimo tour autunnale della band al quale verrà affiancato un massiccio lavoro di promozione su tutti i media nazionali.

I have also taken a bit of Leona Lewis, the new queen of R&B in our book and a bit of Gnarls Barkley, shaken it all up, stuck a bomb under it and boomshaka we have something to mess with your grey cells. Another than has gone up is a radical combo of Rihanna with a dollop of Peter, Bjorn and John.
