MySpace a place for friends

Well, this is me, I’m artistic, creative, weird, very lonely, a constant thinker, I love to eat, especially stuff like pizza, cheeseburgers, or even egg rolls and sushi. Well, my name is Melissa Cook, I’m from Canton, OH and have been living here all my life in the same house with my older brother, mom, dad and crazy cat. I’m 20 years old and have major dreams to conquer the business world.

I started customizing sneakers December of 2006, ever since then, that’s when I knew this is what I wanted to do with my life, as far as being an artist/designer. All aspects of designing are very symbolic and carries a certain feel to it. When I’m designing sneakers, the feel I get when I dip the brush into the paint, and then smoothly paint it onto the leather shoe. When I’m graphic designing, the feel I get when I move around the images to create one final graphic. I love the feel I get when I’m in my own dimension and not worrying what’s going on around me.

I have many things going for me right now, such as starting my own clothing line, writing a murder/mystery novel, creating a sneaker line, and pretty much building an empire like Sean Combs and Sean Carter for example. All I do is strive to be the best in what I do and continue to work hard and to be my own boss at it.I don’t smoke and I rarely drink, all I do is sit in my room, and design, from sunrise to sunset. I don’t slack off or anything. I feel if you really want something, then you should constantly grind and never stop, or let anyone interfere you from your dreams. No on is stopping you but yourself, people that try and stop you, their the ones that are jealous and deep down inside they want you to succeed but are mad because they wish to be you. I remember back in college, one of my teachers said I won’t make it because I’m too humble, being humble will help you make it in life, humble but firm. Don’t be cocky, because that turns people away, confidence not cocky. I don’t say much about my work, I just put it out there and let the people judge, of course, their the customers. But, I have to be satisfied with what I do before I put it out there, I’m doing this because I love it, not for the money, although, an 8 figure income would look nice lol. I do this because it’s fun to me, many ask me what I love doing, and I say, graphic designing, writing, and sneakers etc. as well as videogames, eating and so on.I don’t have many friends, matter fact, all of my friends live online, but around here, too many fake people, yes, it’s lonely and depressing not being asked to go out anywhere or ever invited to go places. But I guess I’m blessed to have the talents I have to stay focused on that. Even in high school, never had many friends to really hang with, but atleast I have the last laugh now. I sure do feel like Charles Shulz, he’s my hero, I feel like Charlie Brown, and Lucille Ball, I love her. I can definitely relate to them seriously. I think their both icons and had made it far in life. All I can say is that I’ma continue to focus on myself, and hopefully one day I can have a family so my kids can grow up and be life their mother.

Words of Wisdom by Me:

“As your life is proliferating and dodging each bump in the road, gliding along with the most envious, trying to knock your hustle and put an end to your career. You shall create a barrier, to put an end to the most envious, those that hate, but as soon as you’re gaining word of mouth, and more clientele, that barrier begins to crack like a stampede full of animals busting down a brick wall, the ones that are envious, return to your presence. Therefore, your skin begins to thicken up, not physically, but mentally. A fiendish, red gleam in their eyes, the look of evilness, trying to stop you from what you delivered to the public. They try and try again to put your career on pause, matter of fact; they try and stop it, permanently. If you’re doing something, that most aren’t capable of doing, and they envy you, then you know you’re doing something correct. The most envious will give you a cold shoulder, your friends turning there backs on you because you’re now living in a blissful life, while their struggling to reach your destination. You worked hard in order to live the life you live, you created stepping stones for the little ones to follow. As they reach their destination, they also create stepping stones in order for other little ones to look up to you. Your journey will never end, as you reach a point in life where you’re losing interest in what you’re doing. You can look back and smile to what you’ve gave, all the success that you have gained. When you lay six feet under ground, the ones that were envious, will start to miss you, they never really miss you till you’re gone and dead as they say, till you rot beneath the earth’s surface. Your body might not be visible to the locals, but your name will always be remembered, even to the most envious…”
