Hi, we are Blasphemous Necrorapist, a black metal band from Dundee Scotland.
We like to sing about serious and important issues, such as the dangers of raising ancient gods in order to get them to make you take-away food, the struggles of vikings fighting to retrieve an ancient beard trimmer, and shopping for groceries in the grimmest and most frostbitten parts of supermarket freezer sections.
For far too long, black metal bands have written nonsensical lyrics, about frozen winterscapes, ancient kingdoms, located in frozen winterscapes, and battles taking place in frozen winterscapes. Unlike those posers, we think it's important to write songs about the things that happen to us in real life, on a day to day basis.
I like to think that Blasphemous Necrorapist informs as well as entertains.
