Maximumrocknroll: A fun, but too short CD from these Florida punks. Frantic, wild music with bratty vocals. One of those bands where everyone seems to be playing his hardest and most crazy, but yet it all manages to stay somewhat cohesive. I like the oddly sci-fi-sounding guitar soling, too. Punk, hardcore and ska music resource n review: very garage rock clangy like richard hell and the voidoids,st pete is where it’s at when it comes to punk rock music,i know because i grew up in this part of florida where many good punk acts like this one come from, these guys know how to rock noise shattering punk rock into your speakers with songs like”bukowski’s dead” and their blast, blast, blast e.p. is out of this world and yet another florida original, although the song “bombs over breakfast”is way to noise unfriendly for my liking,to much commotion going on musically and experimentally for me personally i just had to press stop because it annoyed me so much, for some pure raw noisy garage punk check out blast and the detergents on no clear records,a great listen for fans of new york dolls, iggy and the stooges, richard hell and the voidoids and sonic youth

Virulence, nonconformism, plain rebelliousness, and discontent are just so many more products on the capitalist market: they are consumer goods. Lacking an awareness of how to utilize what is ours for our true liberation, all of these "progressive" alternatives come from the leftist wing of the System, the improvement of its cultural products. They will be doomed to carry out the best work on the left that the right is able to accept today and this will only serve the survival of the latter. -Fernando Solanas and Octavio Getino

This economic and political conditioning has led us to philosophical weakness and impotence that engenders sterility when conscious and hysteria when unconscious. -Glauber Rocha
yeah we're about 15 minutes from the border, as well. most of bellingham caters to moldy old hippies still though so it's good to have a couple of things that are awesome.
