Andrea and his drums, Nils and his guitar&trumpet&voice, Robert and his bassguitar&voice, Stefan with his tenor sax, Marko and his guitars&voice and Stefan with his trumpet
Influences
French Chanson, Balkan traditional songs, Azra, Element of crime, Sonic Youth, Calexico, Morphine
On his long way from Sarajevo to Berlin, Marko made a stopover in Bergamo, Italy, where - together with the drummer Andrea - he drove his guitar amp into sweet distortion for the first time. Once in Berlin, it took some time before Nils, with his guitar, Stefan, with Sax and Robert, the bassguitar player, started making music in a basement with the first two mafiosi. In the middle of a long night they came over Stefan and his trumpet and a couple of months later the sound of the six evolved and matured. The search for an identity is never finished, luckily, but with some shapes of Balkan reverbs and earthy Chansons Blaupause is defining its own music.
