I MISS ALL YA"LL IN LEEDS ....
Great to hear from you! Given that I think of Austin and its amazing vibe, I think I'll be back fairly soon. Got some air miles points that I was saving for an overseas trip...but the pull to be back in A-town is VERY strong. Will look at the Chronicle online, check my MySpace friends' pages to see what is a logical time to follow my heart. Y'all have cast a spell on me. LoL!
Yep, baby steps. Rough plan is to divide the songs into 4 catergories: love, social commentary, humorous, and 'self' (like Clay Pigeons). Of course, many of the songs overlap. Depending on how many performers, they could maybe do threesies: 2 Blaze covers, and one of their own pieces. Grand finale: all performers onstage to do Clay Pigeons. Was working on the poster design, just getting ideas down, also about how the evening will unfold. Headed to NYC next week to Banjo Jim's for the Blaze Tribute. Can't wait. It will be really helpful to see what BoRN could/should like. It will be great to see Sybil and Kevin again, as well as any one else who love's Blaze's work.

BECKY! What the....? I was sure I'd clicked "approve" to your friend request! So glad to have you aboard! Well, got to the Willie Nelson show - he and Mr. Ray Price were SUPERB! By the time I got out to the busses, Willie's and Mr. Price's busses had already left. Spoke to his crew though, and Paul English, Willie's drummer. Close, but no cigar. Not surprisingly, he did not sing "If I Could Only Fly", as I imagine the set list is set in stone. Got some more great local people excited about BoRN. Early days yet, but I'm making baby steps in the right direction. Love and best regards to Ray. Take care,
