'WoW' is right when anyone encounters Ms. Johnson, better known as BLAZzE to most friends and awaiting fans. This young ladies beauty and style is captivating, her confidence and skill flow so naturally it's like running water. She has been blessed with extraordinary amount of talent as a writer, model, rap artist & actress accompanied with the ability to hold a note. BLAZzE has been on the underground scene, and is ready to ignite this multi million-dollor industry. As you continue to read into her life you will get a brief understanding on who BLAZzE is. One would say that BLAZzE has a creative versatile mind, serious lyrical style and strong talent that belong to the game . She grew up in the hard streets of Bridgeport's Marina Village project where her tom-boy image and hunger for the fast life included everything from harmless credit cards scams to the dangers of the drug trade. And, as time past she shed her tom-boy image, and people started to see her as just a nigga in heels. But, anybody that knew or knows BLAZzE will vouch that she is one of the realest chick you can ever meet. Once she teamed up with her brothers and began to enter into local talent shows it was a point of no return. That experience helped to build her confidence, skills and staying power that's well needed to survive in this game. However, her confidence grew even stronger when she started to branch out on her own, which lead her to venture out beyond her home towns comfort zone. But "the life" if it doesn't take you out, has a way of maturing you. BLAZzE became pregnant and she felt that it was time for a change. But it was a bumpy road for 3 1/2 years BLAZzE struggled with her daughters asthma condition wich was diagnosed as life threatening. Now with 2 children Suddenly it seemed that all BLAZzE dreams came to an end at the tragic passing of her 4 year old daughter. That PAIN, combined with the thoughts that constantly go through her head; she continues to say "you just can't explain it". After this traumatic experience BLAZzE, fell into deep depression and made an attempt to commit suicide. BLAZzE tried fighting off the feeling but remained in heavy denial about all she was going through. Trying to escape the pain she became a heavy drinker, and got strung out on Ecstasy, hitting rock bottom and loosing everything. BLAZzE realized she needed to get back on track and pull it together, Although she often reflects back on her life, the passing of her daughter, run-ins with the law, years of physical abuse by her kids father, nearly losing her life from another relationship, and coming close to losing her son when he had once been used as a shield in a shoot out. But as things began to clear in her head she realized that she does not give up. And, walks a path that is chose, whether it's right or wrong, she had a purpose and for that reason she said" I lived when I most wanted to die". BLAZzE felt that boundaries only exist when you believe them to be, and since music is her focus in life it was just a matter of time before all would take notice. Perhaps it's the high self-esteem and the confidence of her sexuality that commands her respect as she holds her own. The energy and enthusiasm that surrounds BLAZzE both on and off the stage makes her a performer that's very hard to forget. Opening for Artist not only, in all major cities in Connecticut, but also, a regular throughout the tri-states. BLAZzE has been heating up the streets and definitely the talk of CT. Her mix tapes, street savvy and skills have landed her in the hands of a couple of hot producers. To date, BLAZzE has done numerous projects that will be hitting your airwaves and streets this winter starting with her new single "Doze Off" and working on her album due to be release plus BLAzE is curently working on her first book called "A Pretty Girl's Bullshit" out 2010, also she's been doing the damn thing with her modeling skills, street releasing 3 calendars. and 5 mixtapes She recently working on her 6 mixtape "pretty girl bullshit" that will be hosted by the world famous Dj Kurupt due out late summer and currently doing many shows and more. Despite all she has been through BLAZzE still lives and breathes hip-hop. She believes 110% that it's ready for her arrival. Many MC's may have similar patterns, But!
