Movies
I love Ingmar Bergman and am particularly influenced by early Godard and a pile of other things a cliched film student would throw about.
Books
currently reading Marcus Chown children's books about neuroscience in hope it will enlighten things for me. (plus he is a nice chap and was v sympathetic to my un-scientific ways)
I like...
festivals, people who are a bit bonkers, music, when re-united with alcohol, creating food masterpieces, verbally abusing my landlord, pretending to hate mess, posters, concerts/gigs, artistic/creative people, moshpits, edinburgh summer, the cameo and the filmhouse, glasgow's west end, cafe rouge and its rabbits, poetry, independant things: record shops, bookshops, coffee shops etc, organic things, drunkenly chatting till the early hours about politics, playing instruments despite battling with wee hands, mixtapes!
Hey hey hope you can spare the time to do this for us :D We've entered Black XS Livesound in the hope of getting a record contract at the end of it. All we need is for you to show your support on our page by signing up and telling them we rock :P

na not really was back in edinburgh for a bit but now in AYR looking at jobs in London :D should be fun times, other than that just working on some music, you still kicking around the burghhhh?
Sorry for not getting back to you. I've been pooped out the other end of exams now and I'm feeling decidedly used. Was wondering whether you would like to come to our flat some time next week for one of you, me and David's escapades of horrific booze and shouting at the television before collapsing in heaps?
Well i have the tickets. They are in an envelope pinned to my wall hidden behind a piece of A4 lined paper detailing the location and time of my exams, right in front of me, just to the left of my Cliff Richard 2008 calender.
my exams finish tomorrow. i will be happy. then peacocks demands my never ending presence till sunday. Then i will fully embrace the end of my exams.
Why why why was someone putting orange dye in your eye? (This is now a lyric in one of our songs) Speaking of. I had a dream the other night that was actually that video we were meant to do of you playing a piano that was flying down Pilmuir st. with me standing on top of it playing the guitar beautifully.
The point of this whole comment, and the moral of the story is, yes, we are going to London.
yes lets do something soon. anytime, because i am bored.
also. i have bebo now. i was sort of forced into it. when i say i have it, i mean i signed up, i havent done anything with it. I'll have to think of something witty to say about myself.
Update on Lauren: Lauren is finished uni all except for exams, so when she is not working she is revising, although she does make some time to watch high school musical, play tiger woods at golf and celebrate colleagues birthdays in a drunken fashion. A fresh off the press update is lauren is drinking some cheap knock-off equivalent of Red Bull called RED THUNDER.
I'm done talking in whatever grammatical person that was. Now i'll just talk myself. If we are going to London, tickets are £17.50.
Before then though lets do something, since i've not seen you in a while.
do not fear. You won't have to look at your phone. I have purchased messenger pigeons and messenger moles and a couple of messenger humans just in case the pigeons get blown off course in the wind and the moles get wobbled off course in these earthquakes the news is going on about.
The writing is coming along fine its just boring since its a business one not a history one. Although in the reading i did find out that someone did a survey and discovered McDonalds employees holding competitions to see who could perspire the most over customer's food, which was charming and almost made me break the rules of library silence.
You know that day it took me two hours to get into edinburgh. well it took me two hours to get out also. The AA says that edinburgh university is 22.9 miles away from carnock and should take forty something minutes. Liars.
I'm buying a magic carpet like aladdin's next time i'm in ikea.
I can't think of anything else to say that will waste time not writing my essay, so i shall leave.
