Welcome to the home of Lethal AKA Harry Shotta and Destruction.
Bleak House Studios is getting a great look right now with the debut album from Lethal and Destruction ’The Journey’. It was always the ambition to pay homage to the incredible studios in the American heartlands which became legendary for their musical output. Studios such as Muscle Shoals and those used by labels Stax, Chess and Atlantic. This American heritage was taken to new pastures with the explosion of an entirely new musical expression namely Hip Hop.
This excitement continued in the UK where we had generated a wealth of groundbreaking talent such as London Posse, Demon Boyz and Soul 11 Soul This generation spawned not only fantastic acts but enterprising producers which evolved into our very own sounds like Jungle/Drum N Bass and Garage in all its varieties.
Like the phenomenon of the Dirty South which has taken Black Music back to its Sourthen roots, here in the UK we are now fusing the sounds of the streets into a global enterprise.
The Harry Shotta album is bringing together some of the cream from these genres and will include collaborations with the likes of Skibadee, Mr Ti2bs, Dynamite MC, Darrison and Skeme as well as showcasing the incredible vocal talents of Steelo and Youngman. On the production side again highlighting our diversity comes the youthful Crissy Criss (BBC 1xtra) and JC (Dirty Pop) as well as Destruction, Beni G (Mixologists) and Plus One (Scratch Perverts) and DJ Mentat. We are also really pleased to have Snowman from L.A and Ego 6 from France contributing and showcasing a world where we can collab through the digital technology of today...
Bleak House Studios are now open to professional projects within the music industry. Having received mighty endorsements from as far away as L.A, Marc Weinbach (A&R-Dreamworks) "love what your doing, keep up the mystique" to Warner Bros who thought we had something very special to Universal Publishing in London.
We can now offer production, remixes, mastering as well as song-writing.
We’ve also added our new logo ’Wordamouth’ for professional voice overs.
