"Bleak" - offering little or no hope;
Investment - the act of investing with a quality, attribute, etc.
Bleak Investment started out originally as a garage band for fun, consisting of Damien, Lamz and Dhanyal who were close friends since high school. After a couple of years of jamming together, we figured out the need of another guitarist as there was hollowness in our music we played. Along came Syed with his Ephiphone Les Paul which filled our music with rhythmic and powerful riffs. Without any time to waste we did our first recording and worked our way together as a band with help from our supportive friends. As about half a year passed with this line up, Jason came along to fill in the other guitarist slot, having Damien to move to vocals. Shortly after that, it was to our greatest despair to find that Dhanyal had accepted a job outstation which allowed him little time to practice and perform with us. This left us no choice but to audition for a new drummer, and along came Wan Danial who filled the spot perfectly. Currently with this line up, we are still working hard together to get together a strong set and entertain you too the greatest extent we can...
