Bleaks' members number three. These three are friends; all do many other things, none of which are particularly famous. Together, they comprise a band, insofar as they converged in Chicago one weekend to make a record. Said record is creepy and droll. New nicely assembled private press LP on Chicago avant/out group Christmas Decorations’ own imprint with letterpressed sleeves in an edition of 200 copies... The sound combines Industrial electronics, bent currents of a-musical circuitry, static, fuzzy drones and the kind of ominous, improvised weight of Music Elettronica Viva. Too ‘out’ for improv, too clinical and ‘composed’ for noise, too crude for avant garde, another excellent release from this great micro-label.
