Introduction ... One day in Feb 2007, David Weaver and I were eating lunch and the idea of me recording an instrumental album came up and what to call it, etc. Well after reminiscing over the various album titles we came up with, I told him I had a lot of old demo recordings where I experimented with sounds and recording techniques and I knew some of the tunes were a little wacky sounding so I told him I might have enough material that would fit such a project. Well the more we talked about this album the idea came out that David could do the artwork for the cover, then he had the idea of doing an art piece per track, then making the whole album center around a silly tune I wrote about a walrus and toad, then the final idea of making a comic with using the music as a soundtrack of sorts, etc. The results of that lunch meeting is what you are about to experience in the future but in the meantime here are just a few demos of what will be and/or might be part of the upcoming comic project. As of the early part of 2008, we have added Jessica Leza to the team to add another element to the project ... animation! Also added to the project team is singer/songwriter Larry Lewis Moon to help out with the soundtrack and musical elements and maybe even have a chance for Danny and Larry to co-write a couple of songs for this album.

These tracks are a combination of things; some came out of "ideas" (for sounds) or a result of "feelings" I had at the time of hitting the record button on the machine, while others will be recorded specifcally for this comic to enhance the artwork David provides and to give your imagination a run for it's money. Alot of these tracks were recorded during the 90's on my old analog multi-track recorder, and to keep with the whole feel of the project, I may very well use the same machine to capture the newer tunes ... so you might hear a bit of tape hiss now and then, but I think that it adds a little something to these recordings and performances. Think of this music as music for music sake ... nothing more ... nothing less. So enjoy...
